Consultation Post Implementation Review of Chapter 2A of the Public Health Act 2005

Queensland Health is undertaking a Post Implementation Review (PIR) of Chapter 2A of the Public Health Act 2005 ‘Water risk management plans’, to consider the impact of the new requirements. A discussion paper, Consultation post implementation review has been developed, outlining the requirements of the legislation, the impacts identified to date and Queensland Health's conclusions based on the available evidence.

The release of the Consultation post implementation review is an opportunity for any interested parties to provide a written submission to Queensland Health on the findings and conclusions of this report. All submissions will be reviewed, before finalising a Decision post implementation review, which updates the Consultation post implementation review in response to feedback provided. The Decision post implementation review is then provided to the Minister for Health and Minister for Ambulance Services to make a decision on the future of the legislation.
