Queensland walking strategy 2019–2029

Have your say on the future of walking in Queensland.

We are committed to making sure that all Queenslanders have an opportunity to enjoy more walking more often across our great state.

When we talk about walking, we also include jogging, running, and moving with the aid of a mobility device (such as a wheelchair or a walking frame).

As part of this commitment we would like to hear from community members and stakeholders about how government investment in walking can better support all Queenslanders to be more physically active, healthier and better connected to transport.
