The Queensland Government wants to hear your views on the Drink Safe Precinct trials currently underway in Fortitude Valley, Surfers Paradise and Townsville.
Drink Safe Precincts use the combined resources of state and local Government agencies, industry and community organisations to deliver practical local solutions to reduce alcohol-related violence.
As part of the government’s commitment to evaluating the Drink Safe Precinct trials, an initial round of surveys were conducted online between March and April 2011. The results of these surveys have been published on the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation website.
Further rounds of surveys, such as this one, are intended to measure any change in people’s perceptions, experiences or activity in the Drink Safe Precincts. The results of these surveys will also be published.
Confidentiality
The information provided in these surveys is completely confidential. Please be as honest and accurate as possible. All survey results will be published at an aggregate level (that is, no individual’s responses will be published). Only the survey team will have access to your results and we have not asked you to provide your name or contact details as part of the surveys.
Four surveys have been developed targeting questions to your experiences. Please complete the survey that best suits your connection to the Drink Safe Precinct. You may complete a survey in more than one category if, for example, you work in and visit or live in the Drink Safe Precinct.
